Water Sort Puzzle FAQ

A little help with the rules, your saved progress and the daily challenge.

Play Water Sort
How do you play Water Sort Puzzle?

Select a tube with water, then select an empty tube or one with the same color on top. The game pours the largest matching block that fits. Finish with every non-empty tube full of a single color.

Is every puzzle solvable?

Yes. Each new puzzle starts as a solved board and is mixed using reversible exchanges. Your choices can still lead to a dead end; use Undo or Restart to try another route.

Is Water Sort Puzzle free, with no download?

Yes. Play here in your browser without a download, account, subscription or payment.

What changes between difficulty levels?

Each tube holds four segments. Easy has four colors, Medium six, Hard eight and Expert ten. Every starting board includes two empty tubes.

How does the daily challenge work?

Everyone gets the same six-color puzzle for each UTC date. A new challenge starts at midnight UTC. Complete consecutive daily challenges to build a streak on this device.

Will I lose my puzzle if I refresh?

Your board, moves, active play time and undo history are saved in your browser when local storage is available. Clearing browser data or switching devices removes or separates those saves.

Can I play without an internet connection?

The loaded game works entirely on your device, so a connection loss does not interrupt play. Loading a new page or reopening the site may require an internet connection.

Can I play if colors are hard to distinguish?

Turn on Symbols below the game. Each color gets a distinct marker. Every tube also has a readable color description for assistive technology, and all controls work with a keyboard.
